Interested in having your child baptized?
We are excited to witness the first moments of your child's relationship with Jesus and His Church, through the Sacrament of Baptism. It's the first step taken in allowing your child to belong to the family of God. Every Baptism is an occasion of great joy for us here at Solano!
We celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism monthly and there are four steps you will need to take to get this journey started. Please review each step below, and follow the links to complete the necessary paperwork.
The steps for Baptism:

These are special people in your life who will help your child on their Catholic journey. Godparents are firm believers, fully initiated Catholics, above the age of 16 and (if selecting two) one male and one female.
Each godparent must complete a Godparent Affirmation Form and return it to you before you are able to complete Baptism Registration for your child.

Once you’ve selected godparents, and have their affirmation forms and your child’s birth certificate handy, you can complete this form for preparation for Baptism.

Once we receive your Baptism Registration form, you will receive an email from our Baptism team within a week, inviting you to attend a Baptism preparation class. These are typically held on the second Wednesday of the month, but you can find scheduled class dates by clicking here.
Each class is approximately 2 hours long and is held on our campus.

Once you’ve completed the Baptism preparation class, you will receive another email to sign up for a Baptism date from the baptism team. Baptisms are typically held on the third Saturday of each month, but you can find scheduled baptism dates by clicking here.
