MEET ISABELLE!

Tell me about your family! I have been married to my husband for 21 years, and I am a mother of four: my stepson, Marcelo; my oldest daughter, Lara; my son, Gabriel; and the youngest of the bunch, Maria Carolina.

What is your favorite part about Solano? The great sense of community. Everyone you encounter feels like family.

What does "Belong" mean to you? To me, Belong means knowing you have a place where you are welcomed, valued, and accepted for who you are. It’s a community where people support one another, share their gifts, and walk together in faith. At Solano, Belong means you’re not just attending a parish—you’re part of a family.

What is something people most likely don't know about you? I was born and raised in Brazil, and my first language is Portuguese.

What is your favorite food? Anything seafood, cooked or raw.

What is the most embarrassing moment of your life? I took my daughter to a birthday party on the completely wrong date, time, and place.

What is a random or fun fact about yourself? I graduated high school in Kansas — Class of ’94.

What is your vision for Solano? My vision for Solano is to see many more families find a home here, just as my family and I have. I want Solano to continue to be a place where families feel welcomed, connected, and strengthened in their faith. I especially hope to see our youth grow deeper in their faith, build a strong relationship with Christ, and feel empowered to share the Good News with others, becoming a light to their families, friends, and community.
