MEET JACKIE!

Where were you born? Santa Maria, CA

Tell us about your family! My family is from the Central Coast! I am one of 6 kids - three girls, three boys! I am number 5 out of 6 in the line up and also the youngest girl. :) I am also so blessed to have a family of my own!

My husband and I have been married for 10 years and we have three children - Olivia (8), Liam (5), Charlie (4).

What is your favorite part about Solano? The community! We have some of the most loving and welcoming parishioners and I have felt that from day 1 at Solano! It's why my husband and I decided to plant our feet here. It has been such a joy to meet so many wonderful people and families and I am so grateful for the lifelong friendships that have formed!

What does "Belong" mean to you? When we truly feel that we belong, it's because we've had a revelation of God's love and longing for us. We feel seen in a way that lets us know, this is where I'm meant to be. When we can do this for others, we reveal the heart of Jesus.

What is something people most likely don't know about you? My name isn't Jacqueline... it's just Jackie :)

What is your favorite song? ”Sails” by Pat Barrett & Steffany Gretzinger

What is your favorite food? It gives me anxiety to think about having to choose! I love so many different things. Although if coffee were a food that might win!

Most embarrassing moment in your life? One time the sun was shining into the room so beautifully during Mass..which led to a friend frantically trying to let me know that my dress had become a little too see-through..Eeek!!

Random/fun fact about yourself? I coordinate Bloom! A ministry for mothers of young children - check it out!!

What is your vision for Solano? I want nothing more than for people to encounter Jesus in the worship. If we allow Him to meet us there, He'll meet us every time - and when He does, we won't be able to stop singing Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.
